Default A lot of members but you don't post?

I can remember the first three years this site was growing. I left for a long time and when I came back it had died. I mean really died.

So my question is why don't you post? Now I hate the name as a matter of fact I may have had the only no vote when we started this site.but we were a group so I supported the group.

Some how we went off tract or a different direction from what we envisioned.

But the basis was getting photographers of all skills together to share ideas, learn, build friendships and have fun.

This is still a cool site with a great gallery but no new threads.

Give it a try , just start with a simple post. Funny I think I am the only original founder that has posted in years I don't think any of the mods have been active in a lifetime, which may be a good thing.

Winger is cool and I believe the site still operates out of her kindness.

So give it a try post something, anything. It all starts when new people post or you can keep reading my boring stuff in the film threads.

Lol so thirteen people bother to read this thread and well you don't say hi or even post anything. Come on try it. I speak 5 languages so try it any way you want to.

There really was a time this was an up and coming place, I lost track and don't know why it died. Think of it this way it is a great time to build content without fear of people jumping on your back.

There is probably the most talented person I know who is still her, (Jim) I don't count the gallery, to be honest I look at it but I seldom comment.

Photography is fun and back in the day I had a lot of friendships made on this forum. I learned a lot and mostly I learned about a lot of new places to go and visit. Winger and I even spent a day together, really a great person.

I have lost track of most everyone but that is life.

May just try posting to this thread and tell me what is your favorite thing, place or subject to photograph.

Anyways welcome.

I agree, we met at a camera show in Omaha when she lived in Iowa. Her husband is a real soldier's soldier, too.

I look at the gallery almost daily. Retirement takes a lot of time, and those hours must be budgeted. My photographic library is extensive, and helping others with history and technical information can be time consuming. So are school sports and it's that time of year again. Thanks to DSLRs, it no longer involves hours in the darkroom.

Well still waiting, but then again I don't mind having the site to myself. However at times it is nice to share thoughts, ideas or information with others.

WINGER and I spent a day together in Pittsburgh, we shot some photographs and if I remember right I treated her to Subway. I know I'm cheap but it wasn't a date, lol.

312, I'm starting to feel like this site is my personal blog. It is kind of like when Tom Hanks was on that island. Except he at least had Wilson, well in a way, maybe Wilson is like the 312 views with not one new post.

A lot of people are missing a chance to communicate better here than on the sites with lots of traffic. Oh well, that's their loss.
