Default New Architectural Ventures...

The image below was captured at St Louis' Union Station in the Grand Hall. The reason I took the photo was to attempt to capture the feeling of standing there, viewing the play of light on the architectural forms. I did manipulate the image in order to bring it closer to what I actually saw. The sun was beaming in from the West, illuminating the entire hall in a golden glow.
  • Do I have a correct amount of contrast/shadow?
  • Do the highlights on the left distract your eye in an unpleasant way?
  • Does it look "real" or over processed?
  • How is the color balance?
  • Does the inclusion of the lightpoles near the bottom take away from or add to the image?
  • Do you see "enough" of the Hall?
    • Does the image serve a purpose? Is it print-worthy?
  • Anything else you'd care to add
