Does converting to B&W include selective coloring? Is that allowed?

The rules allow corrections and adjustments that would be reproducible in the darkroom, by using different films or by using cameras that allow swings and tilts. Allowing selective coloring would be the equivalent to allowing hand tinted prints which takes it out of the technical realm and puts it squarely in the realm of artistic interpretation. Selective coloring is allowed in the themed contests. So no, it is NOT allowed.

Thanks Mike for posing the question in the first place.

Does this work?

Taken the other day at the bottom of the Arch in St. Louis. I love the sense of size you get with this image. Taken with my D200 and 50mm 1.8.
