Film is a good idea, or if you must, a digital media card say 512 or 1 GB depending on price.

Make it winner's choice - then they could choose MF, too.

An accessories bag with a plamp, beanbag, cleaning stuff, other little things. I always think about getting those, but never get around to it.

I agree with a gift card because who ever wins could get what they need instead of what is offered

I'm trying to decide what our next nice prize should be.* If you select "other" please create a post and tell us your suggestion.* I'm trying to keep the prizes from being specific to film or digital so anyone would benefit from winning.

Thanks,

4x5 B&W film might be nice, although I have plenty for a few years. Seriously, I agree with Paul Lowell. However, prizes of value impress me less than the hope of successfully competing against other chimps. For some years my camera club awarded tropheys. Eventually, some of us oldtimers contributed our accumulation of tropheys for recycling with new brass plates to be awarded again. Then it was merely certificates or plaques. Now it is certificates with small gift cards at a camera store that publicizes the club.

I like the back drop or reflector ideas. What about t-shirts and hats with a Photochimps logo....

One year subscription to a QUALITY magazine such as PDN, B&W, View Camera or Camera Arts.

Or even a one year membership to the Photoshop group or PPA or some other professional photo organization.

These items cross all boundaries; film, digital, medium format, color or B&W and keep giving an entire year.
