John: One program that shouldn't overtax your computer, and is free, is Irfanview www.irfanview.com/. It is more of an image viewer than editor, and won't clone the spots from your flower photo. However, it does what it can very fast, and is free. I wouldn't have a computer for processing images without it. You can google fir Irfanview tutorials.

I've never used GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/), BUT know several people that do use it.

For the money, go out and get Photoshop elememts.

BTW, for someone that does not do any post processing. GREAT WORK John..
