Intriguing choice of relatively low shutter speed to blur the wings so much. Good job of keeping the hummer's body fairly sharp at that shutter speed. Fine background.

I got lucky Jim, he kind of stopped and was hovering before moving again. I have a feeder in my backyard and they feed, then sometimes back off and stop for a second before going back to the feeder. Even that is luck because you have to be lucky to even catch them at that time. But it is easier than when they are flying.
I wasn't using my good camera so my settings were off.
