Old Baseball

I took another picture fro the 1886 rules baseball game, and I converted it to sepia.
Does this look more like an old game?

topcat,
again I like the basic idea here, but this shot has far too many anachronistic elements in it (modern bicycle, tripod, camera cases, fans in sweatshirts and modern clothing) and would be substantially more difficult to fix than the shot with the line of cars in the background.

Anachronistic people contrast with the players in a more interesting way than do anachronistic cars. Great timing!

I agree Jim, it is better with the people and the video anachronistic than the cars.
But Robert, there has to be something to show the difference in time.

topcat,
That is one way to look at it. However, whenever I see photos of historical re-enactments, there isn't a modern item included to show the "difference in time", (and often when modern spectators are included, it is just because it was impossible to keep them out). They are simply portrayed as if the photos were somehow taken then.
There is no "right" answer. You did it this way. I would have chosen a different path.

I understand Robert. There are a lot of Civil War reenactments that do that, and the people take pride in it. But this isn't that thing. This is a league that plays baseball with 1886 rules, except for the catcher. He goes by 1930 rules. It is not a reenactment, it is just a game.

topcat,
As I said we each have a different opinion. Either is correct.
