3 more from a recent hike. As good as the hike is on the way up (vistas, flowers, etc.) its the view from the 1/2 way point and on that really makes it worthwhile.

Appropriate advice. Amazing how one gets tunnel vision. I didn't see that until after I posted here (ie the brown bare area lower left). Oops!
