very nice tones and lighting, pose is great. it really fits in the 1940s style you were going for. i'd like a little more sharpening, but otherwise, well done.

right on lighting! I know you enjoy working with her, and you have really captured a great shot here. love the shadows on her cheek, they really show her facial structure. Great job!

Great shot, this could be a publicity still for Warner Brothers from the 30's or 40's. Excellent lighting, and a tip of the hat to whoever did the hair and make-up for the model. This is a real example of teamwork with the photographer and stylist.

Thank you, everyone! Sinna is fantastic to shoot with. She really understands where we are going on our shoots and has a great feel for the look of that era. Beth, the image is actually much sharper than can be shown in the limitations of web-friendly images. The eyes are very sharp with a shallow DOF to give the soft-focus feel I see in many shots of the era. Thanks again for all your comments!
