A commercial group asked me to do some product shots of "stuff" for a more in-depth look at my work. I'm going for an interview for a full-time summer position in a week. They'll also be putting me through a series of scenarios to see how well my index finger works
I'm excited.
I'll keep you updated.

Any suggestions on this image?

Your lighting looks really nice here as does the placement of the watch in the frame. A couple suggestions to make this better: Not sure if possible but I'd prefer a deeper DOF for this type of product shot. If not possible it's not too big of a deal. More importantly, I think it would be better if you could reduce or eliminate the reflection in the glass of the watch.

Good luck with the interview!

Best of Luck Chris. My feelings about the capture are just like Tom's.

its a product shot, but the big hand covers up the product name... maybe move the hands around a bit and get the name to show.

Tame the reflections, and set the watch to 10:10 or 8:20. Better balance. Otherwise it looks real good.

To better work with the reflections and hot spots on the watch, use a polarizer. Also, you may want to touch up the scuff marks in PS to make the watch look new again.
