When storing a car for the winter, there are a few important things to keep in mind. Firstly, you want to cover it with a bedsheet or car cover to keep dust off. Secondly, you should either fit it with a trickle charger, or start it up/drive it every few weeks to keep the battery from draining. In the interest of fun, I chose the latter.
To keep the car from getting dirty, a dry day with minimum salt on the roads is preferred. But I wasn't looking to have preferred. I was looking to have fun! In this case, an unplowed, unused, or "virgin" parking lot is the perfect place. Since the snow isn't dirty, the car doesn't get dirty, and since it's snow, the undercarriage doesn't get too wet.
To make a short story shorter,
After a good deal of power-sliding around, my shutter finger came off all twitchy and I snapped a few shots. Isn't winter light gorgeous?

It's complicated...
My dad drives a 1990 Volvo
I drive a 1995 Volvo
My mom drives a 2002 Volvo
And my dad and I drive the Miata...it's "his" car...but I wash/take care of it and therefore end up driving it a lot more than he does.
In short, we have too many Volvos and not enough Miatas.
