My roommates and I took a little road trip to Virginia yesterday and went to Skyline Drive and this is one the shots i took. I played with different color combinations to give this picture some colors to it, I'm not sure if this looked ok to you but this is the best i could do. I don't have Photoshop and i don't know much about image manipulation...

let me make the first comment, i know this looked very grainy i probably had the iso set at 400 and not realized it and this was a handheld shot also, if this was taken at sunrise or sunset i would have taken the time to setup the tripod.

when i saw this thumbnail, i thought, "that's gotta be the smokey mountains." I was close. Beautiful shot. (of course, purple is my favorite color, so i like it!)
I like the layers of mountains.

I love the layers and the magenta tone. I also like all the datail in the branches in the 'first' layer.

Wonderful image! I've always liked these mountain range shots where the more distant mountain ranges are just a lighter version of the same color as the foreground mountain range. The magenta colors in this photo are really nice. Beautiful poster shot!!
