Interesting capture. My first impression was this was taken in the late afternoon of the sun, just before sunset, because the moon is so bright. I like how you composed this isolating the bare tree branches and the moon. The moon is a bit too hot for my tastes--did it look this hot in the original or did it happen when you converted it to B&W? I'd like to see the branches rendered as silhouettes to eliminate the muddy blacks--easily done in Photoshop. Welcome to Photochimps!! Looking forward to more of your work.
