Excellent detail, clarity and color, Ed!! Part of me wishes I could see all the top of his horny head, but at the same time it would result in a looser crop and then the shot would have less impact as all the details in his head and neck would be proportionally smaller in the frame. So I've decided the tighter crop as you've posted it is the best way to go.

I agree with the crop. It works the best. I also like that he(?) provides his own backdrop for his own portrait and even though black, you exposed so that the details are keenly visible.

The crop works well, but what really makes this shot is the lighting. Very well done!
