Panorama view of the Crystal Mountain Range on a sunny day. It wasn't windy where I was standing but up at 9,000-10,000 feet, it looks like a gale.

Beautiful capture! I love how I can see the snow blowing along the mountain peaks. Is this a crop, stitch or did you use a panoramic camera for this shot?

I manually set my controls on the camera, and then used CS2's File-Automate-Photomerge to make the panorama. Because I wasn't using a tripod I had to do some cropping after the merge (and a tiny bit of cloning), but the end result came out pretty good.

I have a stitching program that will also adjust the exposure, but it degrades the quality of the end result terribly. With CS2 I end up with a great-quality huge Photoshop file (and JPG) but it is easy to resize, etc, so I can post it. I have a panorama of the orange reflection lake photo, but I didn't set the camera controls to manual, so CS2 makes a really weird-looking panorama with strange diagonal lines. Not cool!!!

Thanks so much for looking and your encouraging comments.
