I too like this one best - although, I take nothing away from the others. The lighting on this one is perfect. It casts all the right shadows that are perfectly exposed. The colour saturation is dead on and the firm yet delicate petals of the rose are nicely detailed with your sharp focus and good DOF. This is all complimented by a well composed shot. Again, very nice work!

Thanks for all the good comments guys. I had been into 'closeup' type floral shots for years. This is my first attempt with the Nikkor Micro which, truly is, a wonderful piece of glass. If you can get one used (even a non-af) I highly recommend it. I haven't used this lens on AF yet. DOF gets way too narrow on some shots for AF. haha
