Nice capture, Jason. My experience with this little guys, is they don't sit still for long--so kudos for catching one perched. I like his pose--makes me wonder what he's looking at. Exposure looks to have been tricky--throat looks a wee bit hot, but you managed to capture nice detail and subtle colors in the black feathers on his wing. Background looks great-the 70 to 210mm f4 does a nice job of throwing the background OOF.

Thanks Barbra for your comments. The throat is just a wee bit hot I'm sure I could fix it in PS and yes your right theese little guys dont sit still long at all. I really wasnt paying much attention to exposure at the time. The exif says I was in auto mode. Guess I just got lucky this time. Thanks again. Jason
