the branch coming into the left of the frame competes with the antlers for space.. might be better if you could clone it out. great detail. how close were you?

Hey thanks everyone. Sometimes I like to just leave wildlife photos as they are, as we see them in the wild with branches , etc.

cre8foru, I agree with I to like to think to much is put into isolating the subject from it's surrondings. I often wonder why. The animals live in the suroundings why not include them. However, because we aren't seeing in the image exactly what we see with our eyes. Sometimes I do find branches and other things do upset an otherwise great image. Because telephoto lens compress the image often a branch in the wrong place looks like it is growing out of the subject.
All in all I love your image and honestly wish it were in my files. I've been hunting an image of a big buck in a natural surounding for years.
