This was a grabshot made at a New Years Eve party. Allie's parents brought her to the party when their baby-sitting plans fell through. About ten pm, she fell asleep on a couch. She looked so angelic, bathed in the warm glow of an incandescent track light, that I had to take a shot.

Sis, yes I did post this shot at Phototalk. It's nice that you remembered it. Her parents were very pleased with the print I gave them.
And you're right. They all do look like little angels when they're sleeping, which is probably why my mother used to say a prayer for us every night after we were tucked in. "Thank God they're asleep.".

Barefoot, yes truly it was a grabshot. I saw her sleeping on the couch, ran out to the car, grabbed my gear and got off two shots before she stirred. A few seconds later she moved and the magic was gone.
