I'm a real sucker for classic cars and hood ornaments, in particular. The old Chief Pontiac hood ornaments are some of my favorites. What year was this classic? Beautiful colors and nice tight composition. The image is very noisy and would benefit if run thru a noise filter such as helicon, picture cooler or something similar.

Thanks barbara,
I was inside, and haven't quite got the techniques down yet! hence the noise.
I will look for those noise filters, but suspect they will be windoze only and I am on a mac.
I don't know the year off the top of my head, but will see if I can find out.
Regards,
Bart

Being British is about driving in a German car to an Irish pub for a Belgian beer, then travelling home, grabbing an Indian curry or a Turkish kebab on the way, to sit on Swedish furniture and watch American shows on a Japanese TV.

not sure what iso you used, but the higher the iso the more noise you have. next time try turning down the iso and increasing the shutter speed (use the tripod). beth
