nice image, maybe a bit dark, but the thing that bothers me is the glowing radioactive tree at the bottom... nice eye movement.

Wow I really like this image....nicelly composed. I love the cool tone to it, gives it a cold feeling. And you said you didn't know what to do!?

Ha Ha Ha, well I'm glad you like it.
what glowing tree? I can't see it.

Awesome shot! Your composition here is great and there is a wonderful "winterly" feel to the picture. The lolomotive and the shipping containers add a great touch of color. Like Beth said the image is a bit dark (no detail in the dark areas) but I don't see any radio-activity either.
Nice work!
Where, if I may ask was this picture taken?

believe it or not, it was taken at the "Bow Valley Parkway" hence the title lol
seriously though....that is sort of between banff and Canmore, in the Canadian rockies.
Glad you liked it, I'll try to lighten it a bit for you.
Bart
PS I think I just saw the "tree" it is the front of the train.....right Beth?

Great shot! Glad to see someone else doing some railroad photograhy. Watch out, if you start "chasin trains", you could become addicted. I like the darker version, it conveys the environment at the time that the image was recorded.
