A business trip to Long Beach gave me the chance to photograph the source of most of the container trains that we see trackside. This was my first trip there and I was really overwelmed by the magnitude of it all.

Wow, you've managed to make this industrial site look beautiful. Love the colors and reflections. Exposure looks great. Very nice night shot.

ditto Barb's comments and I like the way the two smaller vessels provide scale for that container ship. Is that a small sailboat just off the bow of the ship? or is it just strange lighting - nice shot, Bob - Gerrit

Great shot! To me what really makes this shot is that it was HANDHELD! With ISO at 800 I see some grain.
