This is from a roll I took in Chicago this summer. I accidentally poured the fixer first, realized my error within a few seconds and tried to save it. It was VERY washed out, but by playing with Levels in PS, I was able to salvage some images, but some detail was lost. Still, I did like this one. It reminds me a bit of the old silent film "Metropolis". I appreciate thoughts on whether it was worth the effort...

I think it's very interesting. It was worth saving in my opinion. I can see this photo being used for a book cover or album cover.

It does give an interesting atmosheric effect. Do you think you might try doing some more of this on purpose in the future?

It might be worth experimenting with higher dilutions of fixer.....

i like it!!!
I like the contrast of the flower(nature, soft, peaceful) in the foreground, and the (man made, rigid, strong) building in the background. THe lines and grain look really cool to me. It looks like it is from an old 20's film. Great feel. I think the shot would have been awesome if you had not had the accident. But I think I would call this a "Happy Accident"
Very cool shot, GW.

I think this was a great mistake! I really love it!
