How do you say “Wow” in Polish?

Just another interior from Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica in Chicago.

Nikon N80, Nikkor 20mm f/2.8, Ektachrome T160, Cokin Star 4 filter, off-camera fill with a gold reflector.

I was challenged again by the mixed light here. I selected the bluest of the blue areas and added a warming filter mask in PSE. I also did some MAJOR perspective correction.

Comments encouraged & welcome.

I still see a very cool light (but there's nothing wrong with that!). What keeps sucking my eyes in is the ceiling. The star filter almost gets lost 'cause my eyes keep going up. Overall, I like it, though.

I agree with winger...I'm drawn to the ceiling too.

This is a spectacular shot, but I find the crosstar effect to be distracting. Besides not seeming right for the scene, the perspective correction is more apparent due to the stars at the right being almost level while the ones toward the left are at about 15 degrees to the horizontal.

I'd like to see a shot of just the barrel-vault ceiling with some really twisted perspectives.

"Thank you for that nice comment. You must have a great keyboard."
