Out for a walk with my dog. When she stops to sniff, I stop to snap a picture. So there we are, she's happy and so am I. Today, there is evidence of bears near-by so we didn't stop to linger.

This is a wonderfully simple shot, yet so well executed. The DOF is impeccable.

Thank you, Russ. I appreciate your comments very much because I was experimenting with a few f stops. This is the one I liked but I was ready to try a few more exposures until my dog walked over the plant.

Very good use of selective focus and DOF. I like how the b/g colours and shapes seem to mimic the shapes of the seed head.
