First IR portrait. My ten-year-old niece, shot in open shade on this past sunny Sunday. Her eyes are blue, her tank top is black, and she's got the cutest batch of freckles across her nose, which the IR eliminates. This is a little grainy, it was shot at 1600 on the 6.3 MP Rebel, which gets noisy up there.

I like Rebecca's pose and facial expression. Her skin tones are yellowish which looks unhealthy and the color of her sclera is just plain creepy. There's no reason you can't manipulate the colors the camera is giving you so I'd remove the yellow from her skin and make the whites of her eyes white. Rebecca has beautiful skin--I've read that IR really enhances the look of skin in portraits.

"...a rheumy-eyed, alcoholic vampire" is how my sister described it. Too funny!! She was much happier with the B/W.
I'm glad she liked it.
BTW, I like your new avatar--tre cool!
