We've had a streak of ugly weather lately and I've been itching to shoot. In desperation I went to the Seymour Botanical Conservatory that I normally reserve for the bleaker days of winter.
I like this shot for several reasons including the juxtaposition of warm orange-red flower petals inside vs the cool purple ones outside. The sharpness of the inside flowers vs those outside blowing around in the unusually gusty winds that only added to the DOF OOF factor.
