Arguably my favorite hike having done it at least once/year for 30+ years and sometimes as many as 4-5 times a year.
Wildflowers in this area are usually quite prolific, here including lupine (purple), magenta paintbrush (red), heather (pink), mountain arnica (yellow), sitka valeryian (white, broad), bistort (white, small vertical, cylindrical), and western anemone/pasqueflower/"bear paws" (fuzzy, creamy green).
