To those who are afraid of making panoramas - it took me only 80 seconds to shoot 36 handheld frames (2 rows), then about 5 minutes to download them to PTGui and some 15 or 20 minues for the computer do the stitching (since the comp is a multy core one I could use the computer for the other tasks at the same time). Then some PS finalizing. As a result - 24928 x 5740 (143.1 MP). The next image is 100% crop. To make a one meter long print 5000 pxls is more than enouth. So it could be a 5 meter print. By the way the lens was not the best one - 18-200 VR set at 70 mm,

Dont mean, do it. The sooner the better. I use it all the time and for all purposes. Take PTGui and dont think twice. There are some secrets as how to boost it to make really super results. I won't keep them.
