Very good series of images. I can almost believe I'm looking at the real thing.
In reality, if the moons were that close there would likely be more definition and identifiable features on those moons. Since you may not have those features to work with, by adding more cloud or haze to the sky could create the impression the weather is obscuring those features. Just my $0.02.
Thanks Fred for commenting. Interesting that you've mentioned the satellites. In fact, I've made their surfaces in PS (some gibberish that I composed of several textures) and then covered the globes with them. I thought that the airs of "my" planet and the probable atmospherics of the satellites (they are large enough to have their own) prevent the details of the surfaces to be seen clearly. So I reduced the moons "sharpness" parameter to 0.8. Maybe I overdone this. I'll think it over.

Perhaps, the "atmospherics" of the satellites (moons) could be more like Jupiter or saturn than our own moon. This way you can work with swirls of colour rather than the edges of craters. That might be easier to do and be just as effective.
