I think I like this because it's different.

Well, I don't remember seeing a starburst effect like this before in a floral photograph. I'm not sure if it's too gimmicky or not (sometimes these special effect photographs don't hold up as time passes), so this is where I'm hesitating. But for now I like it.

The picture is a little soft, but that might not be so bad. In fact, imo, it adds to the atmospheric feeling.

The colors are wonderful.

IMHO opinion, by itself, the photo is not that strong, however as a background for someting else, a calendar, postcard, poem, it would be perfect! Excellent shot!

Thanks to all who have answered my request, now I am a 55 yr woman who works as a volunteer with children who are sick & I had asked what they would like to see early in the morning. They wanted to see a light going through the petals of the flowers outside, so that's why I came up with this photo & you will see a lot of my photos who reflect lights & outdoors in very specify circumstances. Thanks again for now & in the future comments on my inputs.

Rosana, I LOVE the color on this photo. At first I didn't want to comment because I wasn't crzy about the effect you used...but now that you've explained the reason behind it I find myself liking it....
