That looks darned cold! Nice camera you have there. I have one of those too, but I don't shoot film anymore so it's more of a display piece now.

Are the cages some sort of crab or lobster traps?

Hi Sergio,

Those are lobster traps. They wash up on shore occasionally. The modern wire ones don't have the tourist appeal of the old fasioned wood traps, so even in the summer they tend to stay there awhile.

The Canonet is a fun camera. I like using the old stuff, and as a hobbiest I have no real need to be efficient, so I still use the Canonet a lot even though I have a lot of other gear now, including modern digital equipment.

Believe it or not, I went there in January to capture surfers, who are there year-round, bitter cold and snow notwithstanding. The surf wasn't high enough that day, though, so I just shot around a little with the Canonet.

Looks a lot different now, in August.
