Not nearly as cute as Sarah but certainly worth the pixels. 
Not a bad portrait, Chris. Not sure if this was hand held or not but the focal length and shutterspeed seems to suggest the need for a mono or tripod.
With this shot - and I am not sure how much you have cropped already - and assuming you have the pixels to work with, if you cropped to a portrait format from about the shoulder area forward, you might have a stronger image.

Thanks Fred, I just took a little off the right side. I like your idea, I'll give it a try - it should look good. And yep, I used a monopod. There weren't too many animals out that day, but the ones that were out were pretty active. More too come soon!
