Due to work my work obligilations my wife and I did not get to do our usual stint to EP for ten days in July. She's a teacher so she'll be getting back to work in a week or so and I've booked my trip for September 18-28. I have been this excited about getting back in a long time. I've started buying a few pieces of camera equiment and started laying out plans to make sure I visit different areas. Hopefully there will be a few leaves left for me this year. My trip last year in September was disappointing in terms of the photo results I brought home. I've been studying them and doing some research (if it's not raining or 100 here) so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. In the meantime, I've been posting some images up on my Pbase site as it's the closest I can get to being there. I reprocessed this shot last evening using some of the things I've learned over the past year. It's a bit strong on the processing side, but it really brought out the detail in the shadows you normally would see. Comments and constructive critism always appreciated.

WOW! Fantastic. The thumbnail really grabbed my attention. What a treat viewing the larger version! Dittos on the wall hanger.

Oh dont worry, september through november is when the shooting kicks off for fall time shots of nature.
