Russ Senior Member Registered: October 2005 Location: Tacoma, WA area Posts: 202 users gallery	The Pacific Crest Trail (Mexico to Canada) crosses highway 410 at Chinook Pass (5432 ft) at the eastern boundary of Mt. Rainier NP. There is a beautiful loop trail there that I do at least annually, particularly during the wildflower season. The 1st 1/2 of the trail is just outside the NP boundary. 100 ft past here PCT drops down into the Denny Lakes area and continues south while the loop trail reenters the NP. Note that this is taken with a VERY wide angle and thus the "flattening" of the landscape. Canon 20D, 10-22mm @ 10, 0.6 GND ISO100, f16, 1/30 sec
