very interesting shapes and colors. The thumbnail looks quite dark. The enlarged image isn't quite so bad. However, ightening the image a bit and maybe bumping the contrast up might make this shot even more dramatic.

A little punch would've helped get some more detail out of the shapes. Either on camera or off camera would work well here I believe.

Excuse my ignorance but i have no idea what u mean by "a little punch"...
And I liked the darkness of the shot. It suited my mood at the time

What I meant by a "little punch" is that if you used a flash, the shadows created on the object would make it more prominent and you would be able to see the texture.
