This image is outstanding, Chris!!! You've accomplished a kick a** combination of gorgeous light, unobstructed view, perfect poses and, to top it off, it's sharp where it needs to be. DOF is perfect. Where did you shoot this from that you had such wonderful access to this lovely family? Thanks for sharing this with us. Wow!

Barbara, this family nested in a local park. Here on the north shore of Long Island we have bluffs. Mostly sandy bluffs but in this park there are wooded bluffs. This nest was located just off of a trail on the side of one of these bluffs. We, myself and a few other photographers were lucky enough to share in this wonderful experience. The adults were also raised in this park and seem to be very excepting of human closeness. We kept our distance but were still close. These babies have left the nest and not long ago myself and 2 other photog's were nere the nest and saw Mom and a baby. Mom landed nearly with in arms reach of us with food for the young. She had no problem with us being around. The whole experience was a once in a life time deal. It was such an amazing treat.
