That she does! Any chance you can re-shoot this one at sunset? The backkground sky is a bit blown out, and the vibrant sunset colors really would make this shot pop off the screen

I agree with DD. Use the magic hour to turn a good shot into a great one.

I would still prefer to see her with some "hot" lipstick and something to enhance her skin tone. I don't know... she has "it," I just don't know what "it" is that would make THE image for Sarah? We all enjoy these photos, agreed. And she is an absolute lovely model.

Your lighting techniques are good, the poses are good. I think there's just been one little thing missing. Maybe the makeup, lipstick, hair, clothing... ??? I worked for a swimsuit / glamour photog back in the 90s, and I got to assist him helping photo models for the SI Swimsuit addition. Believe it or not, there's much more focus on the model's facial expressions, makeup, and clothing/color tones selection, than just worrying about showing skin. It was a big learning experience for me.
And just looking back on that experience, this is what leads me to say there's just one thing you're missing at having that KNOCK OUT shot that puts it over the top.

Has she considered a short black dress with bright red lipstick, maybe a pose with one dress strap off the shoulder and a more innocent facial expression.

Sorry to ramble - again, I think we're all enjoying the Sarah shots and we all wish her well as a model. I think you're close!
