The Portland Boxing Club hosted a boxing team from Montreal, Canada last weekend for a night of amateur boxing. I was shooting ringside under the ropes.. talk about a tight space between the steps, bench & tables!

I tried, but its a pain, since there were two different lighting sources: a single HID lamp above the ring with a flash bouncing off the ceiling. I used a selective color layer to even out the lighting, but it didn't work.

I quite like the color as is. Because it very much gives the feeling of actually being there. Great shots! I'm a boxing fan, myself.
