Nicely composed shot, Todd. The corn, grass and wheat all lead my eye directly to the tree. The thin, wispy clouds add some interest to the sky--would love to see this shot again with some big puffy clouds for even more impact. Any possibility of see the color version?? I like it in monochrome, but think I'd like a color version even more.

Lone trees are something that always catch my eye while driving. I have spotted a few that I would like to shoot, but need to get them at just the right times of the year. Great capture here Todd! I love the feel of this and like Barbara said, the way it leads your eye through the image. I personally like the B/W version better than the color one
