Russ,
This is a great shot of the Red Wing! You captured light in the eye which is difficult with these guys, and the phot is very animated. He's really showing off those bright red shoulders. Must be a lady near by.

theres a white line going around the bird, may be caused by too much sharpening.. very nice series overall. i love the poses and the details. nice colors too. excellent exposure on the black birds, i like that you can see the details in their feathers.

Great shot! Sharp and with a b/g that creates the setting but does not distract.
