She is the one on the right and the other two are her closest friends (our unofficially adopted daughters...lol!!) I had just received my Canon Rebel XTi the day before prom! Unfortunately the portrait lens that I ordered with it was on back order so I was forced to take shots with the 75-300 telephoto lens instead. I converted the shot to BW using PSE 5.0 and sharpened the image slightly. The portrait lens showed up on Monday:S Oh well, there's always next year!

This is a fine portrait, even if it wasn't made with the lens you wanted for the occaision.

Thanks Fred! I'm excited to back in the saddle again (so to speak) .... looking forward to posting more shots here ... it's been awhile and I see alot has changed while I was away. I've got some catching up to do.
