I used a telephoto and its inherent narrow FOV to do so. The 1st is against the sky. I probably should've used a bit smaller aperture for more DOF but... Canon 20D, 70-200mm f4L @ 184 ISO100, f4, 1/100 sec

i agree with you about needing a tad bit more dof, but otherwise nice. there might be a slight cyan/blue color cast..
