This is a well exposed shot of an interesting subject. Converging verticals are often a no-no, although they can be effective in some shots. Here they don't contribute to my enjoyment of the photo. A slightly lower camera position might have been better. Also, positioning David more in front of the chair on the right would partly conceal a perhaps less interesting area than what's behind him now.

Thanks for the comments. The eclectic collection of interesting bits and pieces filling the shop is to me an accurate reflection of David's personality, and as I was determined to show as much of his work environment as I could, I used my 12~24 with my back up against the plate glass front window. I knew there would be distortion at the sides of the image, but again I felt it gave a "funky" feel to the portrait, which accurately describes David and his shop.
