What depressing? I like this. It'd be a good entry for a 'rule of thirds' theme: not only is the composition split into thirds, the features are in threes as well.

(If you want to see depressing, look in my gallery for the picture called 'Uncle Sam'.)

Thirds and diagonals. Also, the "less is more" rule. Not depressing at all. A good comp!
