Russ Senior Member Registered: October 2005 Location: Tacoma, WA area Posts: 202 users gallery	The Ruston Way promenade just north of the North End of Tacoma and along Puget Sound's Commencement Bay. Here we look SE to Mt. Rainier (aka THE mountain) looming over the city....accentuated by a telephoto. During a break in the seemingly long winter, local folks really cherish when the the mountain is "out".....however briefly. The clouds just starting to break at dusk show Mt. Rainier. Canon 20D, 100-400mm @ 285 ISO100, f10, 1/60 sec

Definitely the best of three. The mountain crest isn't obscured, and detail in the city doesn't compete with the mountain.
