Here we look SE to Mt. Rainier (aka THE mountain) looming over the city....accentuated by a telephoto. During a break in the seemingly long winter, local folks really cherish when the the mountain is "out".....however briefly. Zoomed out a bit to show a cove along the waterfront and what's referred to as "Old Town". Canon 20D, 100-400mm @ 210 ISO100, f18, 1/2 sec and 0.6 GND

This is the best of the three, IMHO. The lens compression makes one think this volcano is far too close to civilization. Great shot.
