i like the highlight area better on this one, but its lacking great contrast the other version had. maybe a blending of the two versions, great contrast and a highlight that isn't as bright ast the last one..

I agree with Beth. Little bit more contrast and this will be a winner.

I agree with the above. Also, the color version looks a little too "suspended in mid-air" for me. This crop works better to lessen that.
