I was playing around in CS3 and tried the B&W converter along with a little tweaking these are what I came up with

Gorgeous composition and DOF, Paul. Love this in B&W and the sepia toning is beautiful. You've lost some detail in the upper petals with the conversion--you could try using the highlight tool sliders to bring back the detail (slide the shadow % adj. to zero.) Love the ethereal glow the blossom has--simply gorgeous!!

Great work! I love the soft contrast and the lovely tones!
Very nice dof and point of focus! Really nice on the eyes as

too much empty space on the left, also what barbara mentioned about the petals being blown, otherwise, very nice.

Fix the highlight, but don't change a thing with the cropping. I think it really balances the entire composition.
