I think it could use a little unsharp mask. I do like this one better.

I'm leaning a little more towards this version. I think the best version would lie somewhere in between. I prefer the richer, darker colors of this one, but it seems flat and lacks pop. The other version is a bit too contrasty for the subject and my taste. With a little tweaking and you'll have a really nice image, Kyle.
